Do the following
- Install WP Mail SMTP plugin
- Why? Default SMTP is with PHP and is unreliable
- Configure WP Mail SMTP
- Use server, account and password from cPanel
- Send a test Message
- Make it work with CloudFlare
- Configure “mail” record in CloudFlare DNS to not us proxy (because Cloudflare will not proxy mail traffic)
- Configure MX record with information from cPanel
- Enable Cloudflare
- Cloudflare can be “paused” on the overview section. It is only used for DNS then
- Cloudflare can be “restarted” on the same page. With this configuration, mail addresses are not proxied
